The Austin City Limits Music Festival kicks off this weekend with an array of musical acts performing at the festival and some of Austin's best venues as part of the festival's late-night series. While the headliners are apparent draws, we have picked some of our favorite artists that you have to make sure to catch at some point over the next two weekends. Even if you can't attend in person, the festival will be streaming (Weekend One) this weekend on Hulu, so you can watch from home. We will be on the ground covering some of this weekend's late shows and on the ACL grounds next weekend, so make sure to follow us on Instagram and Twitter for more updates.

Here are 10 of our must-see acts at this year's Austin City Limits Festival:

Omar Apollo - (Streaming 10/7)

Omar Apollo recently made his NPR Tiny Desk debut Omar performing "En El Olvido" (accompanied by Mariachi Lindas), along with "Evergreen," "Petrified," and "Endlessly" from his highly acclaimed debut album IVORY.

October 7th and October 14th: 7:00pm - 8:00pm - Miller Lite Stage

Late Night: October 8th at ACL Live

Arlo Parks - (Streaming 10/7)

One of the most captivating voices to come out recently, the UK's Arlo Parks released the brilliant debut album, Collapsed in Sunbeams. Parks went on to win a Mercury Prize and shared the stage on high-profile opening slots for Harry Styles, Clairo, and Billie Eilish.

October 7th and October 14th: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Miller Lite Stage

Lido Pimienta -

In addition to being one of the most captivating live performers, Lido Pimienta recently launched LIDO TV in her native Canada. The program has been described as a "children's show for adults" that tackles the issues of colonialism, identity, and feminism. Lido Pimienta never disappoints live, and we look forward to how her newest project influences her live show.

October 8th and October 15th - 1:30 pm - 2:15 pm - Barton Springs Stage

Samia - (Streaming 10/8)

Samia is poised to be a breakout artist this year. She recently released "The Baby" to rave reviews, and she's the kind of artist you can you saw before the sun went down a few years from now when she's a headliner.

October 8th and October 15th - 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm - Miller Lite Stage

Adrian Quesada's Boleros Psicodelicos - (Streaming 10/8)

A break from Black Pumas is doing anything but slowing guitarist Adrian Quesada down. ACL weekend one will be a massive homecoming for Quesada as he kicks off the weekend with an appearance on the Stephen Colbert show Friday. Then he will return to Austin and will be joined by a stacked lineup of vocalists, including Angelica Garcia, Girl Ultra, iLe, Mireya Ramos, Natalia Clavier, Rudy De Anda, Tita, and Clemente Castillo, for the first-ever full-length live performance of songs from his acclaimed 2022 album, Boleros Psicodélicos

October 8th: 2:15pm - 3:15pm - Honda Stage

October 9th: Austin City Limits Taping at ACL Live

Luna Luna -

We spent most of the last year catching every live performance around Austin because they are just that fun live. The energy of their live shows matches the catchiness of every single song they put out. The band will celebrate their transition to Austin "locals" with not only a spot at the fest but an opening spot for Omar Apollo on 10/8.

October 9th: 11:45am - 12:30pm - Barton Springs Stage

Late Night: October 8th at ACL Live (opening for Omar Apollo)

The Marias - (Streaming 10/9)

The Marias have had an enormous year that started with the release of Cinema and the sold-out tour dates worldwide that followed it. More recently, the band guest featured on the Bad Bunny track, 'Otro Atardecer,' which has catapulted the band into another stratosphere.

October 9th and October 16th: 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm - Barton Springs Stage

Late Night: October 14th at Stubb's

Wet Leg -

The duo started 2022 as one of the most hyped new acts at SXSW, and since then, they have released their widely acclaimed self-titled album and opened tour dates for Harry Styles on the Australian and New Zealand legs of his tour. Their early set at ACL might be one of the smallest stages you see them on from here on out.

October 14th: 2:30 pm - 3:15 pm - Honda Stage

Magdalena Bay -

The electro-pop duo recently released the deluxe edition of their debut album, Mercurial World, via Luminelle Records. The album features reimagined versions of previous songs, and the title track is easily one of the year's best songs.

October 9th and October 16th - 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Titos Handmade Vodka Stage

Late Night: October 14th at Antones

Katzu Oso -

Katzù Oso just released the single "Solo En Mi Fantasia," and it's the nostalgia-laced accompanying video. The track comes from his debut album, Tmí,  released earlier this year via Cosmica Artists. Everything from his sound to how he expresses himself visually is always captivating and inviting into his world.

October 9th: 12:00pm - 12:45pm - BMI Stage
