Omar Apollo is officially relaunching his incredibly popular hot sauce, Disha Hot, which was originally introduced in 2021 as a creative project that emerged during the challenging and tumultuous times of the pandemic. Drawing deep and meaningful inspiration from his family's rich and vibrant culinary legacy, Disha Hot beautifully reflects the diverse culinary traditions of Omar's parents, who made the remarkable journey from Guadalajara, Mexico. They once proudly owned the beloved restaurant El Super Taco, which sadly had to close its doors due to Omar's birth, an event that marked a significant change in their lives. Growing up in this vibrant and colorful environment, Omar was continually immersed in the unique and tantalizing flavors and aromas of his upbringing. He often found a delightful variety of homemade hot sauces lined up in the fridge, each one influenced by the seasonal harvests cultivated from their own garden.
