Kamasi Washington Unveils New Album "Fearless Movement" and Extensive Tour

Renowned saxophonist Kamasi Washington has recently revealed details about his upcoming album titled "Fearless Movement," set for release on May 3rd. The highly anticipated album boasts an impressive lineup of contributors, including Washington's daughter who played a pivotal role in creating the melody for “Asha The First.” Notable artists such as André 3000, George Clinton, BJ The Chicago Kid, and others have lent their talents to the album, showcasing a blend of new and familiar voices.

To accompany the announcement, Washington released a new track, “Prologue,” along with a captivating video directed by AG Rojas and choreographed by Samantha Blake Goodman.

Additionally, Washington has announced an extensive tour in support of the album, with stops scheduled across the country, including performances in Texas. Fans can catch Kamasi Washington live in Texas on May 14 at the House of Blues Houston, May 15 at the House of Blues Dallas, May 16 at the Empire Theater in San Antonio, and May 17 at the Empire Garage in Austin.
